The UALL Work Based Learning Network Annual Conference

The University of Westminster is hosting The Universities Association for Lifelong Learning (UALL) Work Based Learning Network Annual Conference on Monday July 14th 2014.

The conference “Work Based Learning: Flexible Learning Opportunities and Challenges” is being organised by Middlesex University and the University of Westminster. Dr Pauline Armsby, Director of the HERC is a member of the conference committee.

The conference aims to explore the notion of flexibility in the context of work based learning and to highlight the opportunities and challenges posed for by key stakeholders including learners, academic staff, higher education institutions, employers and professional bodies.
Papers and proposals for presentations, workshops and topics for roundtable discussion for this conference are welcome from those practising and researching in this area. Successful presentations at the conference will be considered for development into a special edition of the Journal of Higher Education, Skills and Work Based Learning.
