Post Ref 2013, how will the university become more research engaged and research intensive?
How can individual researchers take advantage of the university’s increased focus on research to achieve their own research goals?
In order to get the debate rolling, there will be three short talks. The presenters are:
- Professor Graham Megson, who will present the University of Westminster’s Research and Knowledge Transfer Strategy.
- Professor Simon Joss will talk about Vitae’s Researcher Development Framework (RDF) and its relevance to your research career.
- Saire Jones, Staff Learning and Development (SLD) Advisor will highlight personal professional & career development opportunities available to research staff at Westminster.
The Researcher Network seeks to foster cross-faculty dialogue and collaboration among researchers at the University. The Network is open to all members of staff who are involved in research, whether that is the sole focus of their work or as an element alongside other roles, such as teaching, advising or training.
